The Codemeter issue has been resolved. Relief! Turns out that an inadvertent switching of browsers made it all good. Did have problems with T-Racks and had to uninstall some stuff, but I have a different plan for next time. Sleep and Hibernate functions have been verified and are vastly improved. It’s like a whole new box! Remaining optimistic.

Most excellent, Grasshopper. You have successfully updated. Now, more updates. Then some more. Just a few after that. Oh, can you smell the sweet fresh updates? Don’t burn your fingers.

A productive day. I cleaned up/out the music computer and then upgraded the memory. Double! Then I wiped the hard drive and installed a newer OS. Then I began rebuilding the basics. Except for the Codemeter issue, all looks well so far. This is pleasing.

Gentle Giant – The Power And The Glory

Oh dear blog, I’ve been neglectful. Or perhaps busy. Or preoccupied. I could recap the recent activities, but that sounds like too much work. So instead, I’ve dug up some pics from our Sequoia trip last year. One afternoon I bolted off up this canyon. I was alone, the rain was threatening, and the daylight was fading. The deeper I went, the more I thought about bears. My bearanoia drove me to clap or whistle or stomp my feet at every turn. I knew I’d have to turn back before the canyon end, but had to keep looking around just one more corner. A vein in the rock in a pool in the river caught my eye. I thought it might make a nice photograph. And Shirley it has or will. Just not for me that day.
